Autumn emerges. Summers languishes. Where did all that time go? Never did get around to that beach trip, or that weekend to yourself? Still have that pile of hot summer beach reads waiting to be cracked open? Well, you are in good company, darling! Our summer was sheer insanity. Any moment might find the Girls of Slate (we’ll let you know when that calendar pans out…) in a coffee-fueled neurosis, running in circles (literally and figuratively), or occasionally reinterpreting 80′s music videos to the beat of our own drummer (just another reason to stop in on the regular-we have been known to do this in front of normal people!)…
Well, it turns out there was good reason for the chaos – as many of you have guessed, requested or inquired, Slate is expanding! There were plans to be drawn, worked, and re-worked, and spaces to be prepped. In addition, there was a sparkling new website to build and update, a photo shoot for Southern Living to be published in November, and as always, fundraisers and charity events to take part in. Whew!
